Light Up the Sky

Welcome back to a time when parties were glamorous and theatrical divas abundant. The hit of the 1948 Broadway season, Moss Hart’s Light Up the Sky follows the comical antics of a group of New York theater folk who are attending the opening of their play in Boston. The leading actress, the backer and several others are in seventh heaven at the prospect of a tremendous success, which they hope for in the work of a young unknown writer. But things don’t turn out quite as expected and the evening has only begun.
