Death Defying Acts is an evening of three one-act comedies by David Mamet, Elaine May and Woody Allen. The death they’re defying is literal in terms of content, but also figurative – these are strong writers racing against their own mortality. Laughing in the face of life’s funny-sad crises is a truly death defying act and these shows give us the opportunity to do just that.
