Hunger’s End, by Resident Playwright Roger Rueff, takes place on the eve of a rare conjunction of May Day and Easter, when a reclusive giant of science and the arts receives a visit from a young admirer who is eager to chronicle his life. As the visit unfolds, the masks of decorum are peeled away, revealing the true motivations of both and the ultimate cost of creation.
Presented as part of The Saturday Series of staged readings and discussions of plays in progress.
