Written and left unfinished before its author’s death in 1837, Woyzeck has long attracted fascination as an early precursor to twentieth-century expressionistic drama. Greg Allen brings his original style to the play, creating a theatrical, carnival-like atmosphere which eventually seals Woyzeck’s fate.
A special benefit performance of Woyzeck is scheduled for Saturday, November 18. This performance features a reception after the show. Tickets are $40.00 and include unlimited food and beer.
