About This Show

Written and directed by Michael Govier, The King’s Proposal or The Marriage of Princess Guido is the tale of a King, two Queens, a Prince, a Princess, a servant, three Players and a woman named Jo. The greedy King wants to control the kingdom and, in doing so, decides to marry off his daughter, the Princess, to the Prince. However, the Princess is in love with a Player and the Prince is in love with Queen Roger; they each go to great lengths to prevent the marriage from taking place. The King charges Guido, his servant, with the task of making the marriage happen… or else.
