Roadworks has been at the forefront of the current boom in cutting-edge Chicago theater. Since its founding in 1992 by Northwestern University graduates, they have captured national attention for their gutsy productions of Eric Bogosian’s Suburbia, Mike Leigh’s Ecstacy, Patrick Marber’s Dealer’s Choice, as well as the devilishy humorous Santaland diaries by David Sedaries. The company presents Stupid Kids, a darkly funny-up-to-the-minute look at contemporary teenage life by playwright John C. Russell.
