Adapted & Directed by Stephen Fedo, Stories By Nikolai Gogol, brings to the stage two quintessential Gogol masterpieces that have inspired generations. Dostoyevsky was once quoted as saying, "we all came out from under Gogol’s ‘Overcoat’", when referencing Gogol’s impact. Alumnus Stephen Fedo returns to the Piven stage, having previously adapted classic authors including Checkov, Singer, Malamud and Grace Paley. Piven returns to its story theatre roots with these two delightful tales.
