Stop Kiss

Black Dove Theatre Company kicks off its 2004-2005 season with Stop Kiss, by Diana Son, directed by Black Dove Artistic Director Jennifer Dobby.

When Sara abandons the Midwest for New York City, an innocent favor sparks a friendship with Callie, which quickly and quietly grows into one of romance. Just as Sara and Callie are finally able to express their feelings for each other, they find themselves victims of a horrific attack that thrusts both women and their relationship into the harsh spotlight – a situation for which neither is prepared. Stop Kiss is a moving exploration of love and survival, and the tension between remaining silent and bearing witness.
