A man blows himself up in the middle of a major city. Who was he? What was his motivation? How widespread is the conspiracy? The police, the newspapers, and even the "usual suspects" are puzzled. As the story unfolds we discover that nothing is quite what it seems and the obvious answers are wrong. The plotters themselves are astonished by the results of their actions. This dark and darkly comic story of spies, anarchists, and saboteurs is sure to make us wonder about the obvious parallels to our own headlines and public outrages.
