Pages From my COVID Scrapbook
$20 with a two-drink minimum
Davenport’s, Chicago’s premier location for enjoying music in an intimate setting, presents “Pages from my COVID Scrapbook” by the contemporary cabaret ensemble The Chicago Red Line on August 11 & 12 at 8 p.m. at 1383 North Milwaukee Ave. Tickets are $20 with a two-drink minimum.
The Chicago Red Line’s proud return to the stage at Davenport’s, reflects on three years since the pandemic began. In “Pages from my COVID Scrapbook,” they reflect on the individual and community journeys we all mustered – from “quarantine crazies” to the “Fauci Ouchie” and so much more, this show will guide you through a hilarious (and mildly inappropriate) anthology of familiar moments — and the music that helped us make it to the other side. Once reviewed by the Chicago Tribune as “not what I expected” and “pleasing yet terrifying,” this group of professional singers, actors and dancers are dedicated to bringing a variety of musical genres to the stage.
