About the Show
Closing this Festival Season is Benjamin Britten’s Owen Wingrave. This will be Chicago Opera Theater’s third Chicago premiere of a Britten work since Brian Dickie’s arrival as COT General Director 10 years ago. Like Verdi, Mozart, and Wagner before him, Britten brings an extraordinary sense of theatre to his musical treatment of complex subjects.
