Once Upon a Time in New Jersey is the light-hearted story of an Italian-American deli worker who switches places with a local lothario to woo the woman he loves. The play is a funny, frenzied journey to the New Jersey world of dames, games, food, feuds, molls, dolls, switches, snitches, mistaken identities and how a simple sandwich-maker becomes a hero.
