Based on one of the great masterpieces of world literature, Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes, Man of La Mancha became one of the most popular musicals in the history of American theater. Telling the story of Don Quixote, the single-minded would-be knight who is daunted by realtiy, Cervantes challenges the importance of sanity in a world gone mad. Accompanied by his sidekick Sancho and his vision of Dulcinea, Don Quixote is the eternal symbol of the quest, and the patron saint of dreamers. The unforgettable songs from the musical are “The Quest (The Impossible Dream),” “To Each His Dulcinea,” and “I Really Like Him.”
