Letters/X 6 The Recession of Love

Now in its sixth heartbreaking year, Letters/X returns to the Chicago stage. Comprised entirely of real break-up letters submitted by the public, Letters/X part 6 – The Recession of Love is an exciting and hilarious mix of songs and monologues that remind audiences that everything comes to an end… even love! Watch as GroundUp Theatre turns depression to hilarity as the cabaret ensues with the brilliant talents of the six-member ensemble. This Valentine’s Day tradition will help confirm your decision to leave or to stay, and may clarify any lingering questions about your current romantic exploits.

GroundUp Theatre offers a gala preview evening Monday, February 2 at 8 p.m. A $15 donation includes beer and wine for the evening. All other performances, beginning Tuesday, February 3 and closing Saturday, March 7, are free to the public and begin at 8 p.m.

This is strictly a 21-and-older event.
