Icarus Blue

Icarus Blue, directed by Children’s Theatre of Western Springs alumna Laura Dieli, is a modern adaptation of the Icarus story from Greek mythology. In this version, not only do Icarus’ wings make him different from everyone else, but his skin is blue! How does someone so unique find his way in a world where being different is anything but good? Naomi Iizuka’s fantastical script allows audiences to accompany Icarus on his journey for truth, acceptance, and understanding. Beautiful imagery and imaginative storytelling make this family friendly show something that can’t be missed.
