About the Show
How to defend yourself. How to not be a victim. How to ask for what you want. How to make friends. How to have sex. How to keep your body from betraying you.
Following the sexual assault of sorority sister Susannah, 7 college students gather for a DIY self defense workshop. Lilianna Padilla's sharply funny, profoundly honest, and often painfully relevant script explores the nuances of rape culture, the importance of the community, and the intersections of privilege and power. This stellar ensemble show rounds out Odds + Ends pilot season with an irresistible combination of sweetness and brutality.
Content warning: Depictions of violence, discussion and description of sexual assault, sexual violence, and sexual acts. Recurrent themes of dubious consent. Substance abuse. Strong language. Mention of guns.
As part of our accessibility mission, the 2:30pm Sunday performance will be our "accessible show", featuring slightly modified lights and sound, a more relaxed environment, and an available discounted ticket. All audience members must wear masks.
Ticket Tiers:
Tier 1 ($18 ticket): The Odds + Ends Ticket
This is our base price ticket for the majority of our audience! We work hard to keep our ticket prices as affordable as possible and are so grateful to have such a wonderful community.
Tier 2 ($25 ticket): The Odds + Extra Ticket
This tier is for those who would like to show additional support to Odds + Ends Theatre Co. and our mission! The extra cost of this ticket helps us pay our cast and collaborators, purchase rights, and rent spaces for upcoming productions, and keep our base ticket price as low as possible. We appreciate your extra support!
Note about tiered ticketing: All tickets get you the same thing: GA seating at our production and a lot of appreciation for our team!
