Hip-Hop Theater Festival

The Hip-Hop Theater Festival presents and supports live performances by artists who stretch, invent, and combine theater, dance, spoken word, and live music sampling.

Young Chicago Authors make their MCA debut in this night filled with theater luminaries performing excerpts from their celebrated works: From New York, Danny Hoch in Till the Break of Dawn and Will Power in Flow; and back by popular demand following his exciting debut at the MCA this February, Oakland’s Marc Bamuthi Joseph in Scourge, a new work.
