Highly Seasoned

Chicago born singer, cabaret performer, writer, lyricist and actress, Charlene Brooks, returns to the Skokie Theatre in Highly Seasoned. Brooks will be performing with her band, Dennis Luxion, piano; Jim Cox, bass; Jeff Thomas, drums and Jeff Jacobs, guitar.

Charlene Brooks has performed to sold-out houses in all her previous performances at the Skokie Theatre. She now returns to the Skokie stage in an all-new show celebrating the holidays, in her own unique way. Combining stories of her life with Chanukah, Christmas and winter songs from well-known favorites to rare gems in a variety of original arrangements: Latin, Swing, Blues, Rock, traditional and more. Brooks is known for her very personal and professional performances where she interacts with the audience throughout the performance creating an intimate and emotional connection.
