Dear James Franco

Celebrity letters are ripe fodder for Under the Gun Theater’s latest weekly themed event, which features comedy inspired by notes to and from famous people. Each week, Under the Gun’s resident comedians will sift through letters both penned by and aimed at politicians, musicians, actors and more, reading them aloud and performing skits that riff on their content. Though the night is being called Dear James Franco, the letters are not necessarily written by or to the Pineapple Express actor, but judging by the hilarity of previously published open letters to Franco (as seen in Slate,Gawker and more), it sure wouldn’t hurt.
