Chicago Doo-Wop Dreams

From Connie’s Pizza on the South Side of Chicago to the biggest stages in the world, join four Chicago Boys on their journey to fame and back. On the road to success they meet smarmy producers, money-hungry managers, an aging diva and even “Roy Orbeson.” Through the joys and struggles of a life on tour, the Chicago Boys have to stick together to make it to the top.

​MCL Chicago honors the jukebox musical (Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia!, That Thing You Do) with this production. This hybrid musical weaves together improvised premieres, a cappella covers, and original songs that are soon-to-be American standards all while being accompanied by a four piece band.
