Set on the rugged New England Coast just before the turn of the century, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel is the story of the brash, smooth-talking carnival barker Billy Bigelow, who falls for and marries the lovely young mill worker Julie Jordan. Years after his tragic death, he is given the chance to return for one day, hoping to teach his daughter a very valuable lesson about love.
