Superstar tenor Andrea Bocelli will make a rare Chicago-area appearance as part of a U.S. tour celebrating the release of his acclaimed new album "Incanto." The concert will feature songs from his "Incanto, a Decca/Sugar Records release, which has been hailed as a romantic tour-de-force, featuring Bocelli’s glorious sound in perfect complement to the rich and sonorous tradition of classic Italian love songs. The tour will make limited stops in U.S., playing such prestigious venues as the Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden.

Showcasing new repertoire from the album, Bocelli’s fans will have the opportunity to experience Bocelli at his finest, singing timeless Neopolitan classics in a spectacular concert setting. Now at the height of an incredible career that unfolded a decade ago, the "Incanto" tour is a personal tribute to the great musical traditions of his homeland and an homage to great tenors he admires. "These songs have been part of my life since I was a child," says Bocelli, "pop singers as well as operatic tenors have measured themselves against this repertoire."

Concert highlights include the classics "Because," "Mamma," "Granada," "Funiculí Funiculá" and  many other favorites.
