New York City
Stage Coach Theatre presents an unlikely pair of dramedies: Love Letters by A.R. Gurney and Fool for Love by Sam Shepherd. Kevin R. Kimsey directs.
Love Letters is a unique and imaginative theater piece that follows the written exchange between two life-long friends. Love, sex, friendship, politics and marriage create a show that is frequently funny and always touching.
In contrast, Fool for Love is an intense and sharply humorous study of love and hate. The New Yorker describes it as “mysterious and unsettling […] as funny as anything [Shepherd] has ever written” while Back Stage declares it as “one of the great plays of the late twentieth century.”
