About the Show
Based on the book by the same name by Studs Terkel, the 1978 musical Working examines and
celebrates the frustrations, joys, pride and aspirations of the American worker. Music and lyrics are by Stephen Schwartz, Micki Grant, Craig Carnelia, Mary Rodgers, James Taylor and Susan Birkenhead. This student production is
directed and conducted by Gerald Moshell with orchestral accompaniment.
