Ghetto Chronicles The Musical is a thought provoking and candid look at inner city living through trials and tribulations. It is a musical journey of one-act performances about every day people and issues told by actors who sing, rap, dance and speak poetry live on stage. The cast of 8 address both hilarious and dramatic situations such as “ghetto” people, baby daddies, teen violence, negative labels of society, invisible fathers, the misuse of the “n” word and other hot topics ripped right out of current headlines. The show also features a performance by famed choreographer and rapper “DWhit” who is the writer, director, choreographer and producer of the show. He is well known for his work with platinum artists such as r&b crooner Joe, Britney Spears, TLC, 702 and rap icon ICE T. of the VH1 show called ICE T’s Rap School. Ghetto Chronicles will have you dancing in the isles while shouting from joy and inspiration. If you’ve seen it before come see it again with our newly added scenes.
