About the Show
The Rascal Rep presents Annie Jr., an all-kids musical based on the comic strip Little Orphan Annie. The title character, Annie (performed by Lauren Caredon), does not like life in her orphanage, run by the ill-tempered Miss Hannigan (Emily Bloom) , so she’s excited when famous and eccentric billionaire Daddy Warbucks (Marcus Starling) picks Annie as the lucky orphan who gets to spend Christmas at his mansion. The show includes great songs like “Hard Knock Life”, “Tomorrow” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile”.
The Rascal Rep is the Little Theatre of Manchester’s Summer Youth Program. Annie Jr. is a youth theater adaptation of the Broadway hit Annie, featuring all 36 members of the Rascal Rep.
