Jean-Georges Vongerichten is one of the world’s most famous chefs. A savvy businessman and restaurateur, he is responsible for the operation and success of a constellation of three and four star restaurants worldwide. Jean-Georges currently manages and operates 30 restaurants across the globe, including 11 in his hometown, New York. In 2014, Jean-Georges ventured to Roppongi Hills to open JG Tokyo, a 14-counter seat restaurant, which was awarded its first Michelin Star this year. Most recently, he opened Matador Room, Market and Tropicale at The Miami Beach Edition as well as JG Dining Room and JG Kitchen in Dubai. It was during his time training in Asia that Jean-Georges developed his love for the aromatic flavors of the East.
