About This Show

As part of the Long Island Wine Country Winter Festival, join award-winning children’s recording artist, Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could for a fun-filled musical concert to celebrate the release of his fourth CD for children, Every Day Is A Birthday.

The recipient of a Parents’ Choice Recommended Award, a NAPPA Honors Award, a Publishers Weekly “Listen Up” Award, amongst many others, Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could delights children and adult audiences with first-class vocals and guitar-work, saxophone, and honky-tonk piano. Through his music, Brady presents ideas about love of community and shared experiences while honoring the natural ebullience and creativity of children. “Rock ‘n Roll Mother Goose,” “Dilly Dally Daisy,” “Instead of Watching TV” and “Every Day is a Birthday” are songs that are as empowering as they are entertaining.

Brady is a charismatic performer with a remarkable gift for connecting with children ages 3 to 9. His rollicking, rocking songs speak to all ages. The music is a blend of Motown, rock, pop, R & B, and folk. Through songs about losing a favorite toy, cooking with mom, drawing on the sidewalk, and other childhood activities, Brady brings rhythm and hilarity to otherwise everyday events. Every Day is a Birthday represents a maturing of Brady’s style and a coming-into-his-own in terms of children’s music, but it is still what he calls, “music for kids with a rock ‘n roll heart.”
