The Adventures of Mighty Bug

LOOK! Up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…Mighty Bug! Follow the insect world’s greatest superhero as he squares off against the evil Scorpiana in The Adventures of Mighty Bug. The Center for Puppetry Arts presents Jon Ludwg’s scientific extravaganza as part of the 2004-05 Family Series.

Mighty Bug, Morpha Butterfly, Professor Rhinocerous Beetle and a host of other amiable arthropods reside peacefully in the lush paradise of Bugville. Here, Mr. Millipede often takes an early morning jog through the grass, waterbugs glide gleefully across the common pond and all the citizens tune in daily to the lovely Morpha’s radio broadcast on WBUG. But unbeknownst to them, scheming Scorpiana waits patiently in an abandoned hole and plots the demise of Bugville.

Ticket price includes admission to to Create-A-Puppet Workshop and admission to the museum and special exhibits.

Show times for Jan. 6-Feb.6 are Tu-Fri at 10:00am and 11:30am; Saturday at 11:00am, 1:00pm, Sunday and 3:00pm.

Show times for Feb. 8-March 13 are Tu-Fri at 10:00am and 11:30am; Saturday at 12:00pm and 2:00pm, and Sunday at 2:00pm.
