Taking place in the attic of a Manhattan brownstone about to be demolished, the four character play centers around Walter Franz, a successful surgeon who drifted away from the family years ago, his brother Victor Franz, a police officer who did not finish college in order to support his ailing father, his wife Esther and Gregory Solomon, a wise, aging antiques dealer.
