The Asolo Theatre Company presents The Smell of the Kill, by Michele Lowe, a wickedly funny dark comedy about men, women, marriage and malice. The production is directed by Michael Edwards.

Michele Lowe (with tongue firmly in cheek) sets up the following situation: Three couples have been enjoying a monthly dinner party for years. After dinner, the husbands putting competitions in the dining room, while the wives gossip in the kitchen. But on this particular night, the party takes an unexpected turn, leaving the ladies in a precarious situation. Nicky’s husband takes the other men on a tour of his new walk-in meat freezer in the basement. The men get stuck inside it. Join the three women as they work through the ultimate question – the pros and cons of “what to do now.”
