About This Show

A musical romp that shamelessly spoofs the Greek myth of Amphitryon, Olympus on My Mind is set against a backdrop of stolen identities, bickering servants, and the many faces of true love.

The show recounts the events that lead up to the conception of Hercules. Amphitryon and his servant, Sosia, have been gone for over a year fighting a war against Sparta. In his absence, Jupiter, god of Thunder, decides he must have Amphitryon?s wife, Alcmene. He travels to earth with his son, Mercury, and the pair assumes the identities of Amphitryon and Sosia. Confusion ensues when the real Amphitryon and Sosia return from the war; and Alcmene must decide who is truly her husband — and who is the impostor. Joining the action is an untypical Greek chorus — Tom, Dick, Horace and Delores (the only chorus girl).

There are additional matinees on select Saturdays at 2:00 or 5:00 pm, or Sundays at 3:00 pm
