Lecture Series presents: Story Musgrave

Musgrave shares his amazing story, which began with some impressive mechanical talents at a very early age, to never finishing school and joining the U. S. Marines where he was an aircraft electrician, to earning seven graduate degrees in math, chemistry, computers, medicine, physiology, literature and psychology. He has 20 honorary doctorates, but he is best known for his 30 year career as a NASA astronaut. He performed the first Shuttle spacewalk on Challenger’s first flight and led the space walking team on the Hubble Telescope repair mission.
