A Pair of Nuts

Fresh from their nationwide tour, A Pair of Nuts return home to Miami for a one night only special engagement on Saturday, August 16. Yamil Piedra and Johnny Trabanco have been wowing audiences all over the U.S. since starting their tour. They’ve had sold out shows in New York, Los Angeles, Virginia, and Texas, just to name a few. “Every city we’ve performed at so far has been nothing but welcoming and the response to our show has been amazing,” says Piedra. “But now we come home to where it all started… MIAMI!”
These two hometown boys have been working together since 1998 where they met at Florida International University. To say they’re putting Miami and South Florida as a whole on the “comedy map” would be an understatement. With their presence at major comedy festivals and headlining comedy clubs across the U.S., these two guys are single handedly changing the way people view South Florida and opening doors for many of the comics here. “Miami is known for many things, but comedy is definitely not one of them,” says Trabanco. “We’re little by little making it happen.” Their show is an innovative, edgy, in your face comedy show that features loosely improvised sketches, an assortment of crazy costumes, hilarious choreography, short videos sprinkled in between, and partial nudity.
