2021 – Marshall Matthews ‘One Man Tribute to Neil Diamond’ (Courtyard)

Marshall was born in San Francisco and raised in Fairfield, California. During that time he was exposed to and appreciated the variety of music coming from the vibrant Bay Area Music Scene. Having played in the Fairfield High School Scarlett Brigade he learned the discipline that was needed to perform with other groups. After college and a short professional football career he once again began playing with local bands in Louisiana and Missouri. In 2007 he began his professional music career as an award winning Elvis Tribute Artist and in 2010 formed Marshall and The Memphis Kings. This 12 piece band is comprised of some of the finest professional musicians in the Midwest. Six years later he incorporated Neil Diamond Tributes in his shows. Marshall has performed coast to coast in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan and Great Britain. Within the last five years he has performed at a few clubs in the Bay Area and at a few private events at the Green Valley Country Club.
