Comedienne Whoopi Goldberg, the award-winning star of stage, film and television, plays Stamford Center for the Art’s Palace Theatre for one night only.

Whoopi Goldberg can be heard daily on her new radio show, “Wake Up With Whoopi.” Her film career began with The Color Purple, earning her an Oscar nomination, a Golden Globe Award and the NAACP Image Award. For her performance as Oda Mae Brown in the movie Ghost, she won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, another NAACP Image Award, the British Academy Award, the Movie Award and an American Comedy Award.
On television, Whoopi has hosted numerous programs including The Whoopi Goldberg Show, The 34th Annual Grammy Awards, A Gala for the President at Ford’s Theatre in 1993, 1994 and 1998 plus four telecasts of The Annual Academy Awards. Whoopi, Billy Crystal and Robin Williams co-hosted HBO’s now-historic eight Comic Relief benefits for the nation’s homeless, which raised more than $40 million.

Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Palace Theatre box office. The box office is open Mondays thru Fridays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 12:00 PM (noon) to 5:00 PM.
