The Stamford Center for the Arts presents The Playboy of the Western World. The wild, provocative and passionate signature play of The Abbey Theatre (Dublin, Ireland), one of the foremost companies in world theatre. It’s the Centenary production of John Millington Synge’s tale of Christy Mahon’s arrival in a small Irish village, and his seduction of its inhabitants with his ‘gallous’ tale of killing his father.
