The Yale Repertory Company presents The Clean House by Sarah Ruhl. A family is forced to face its buried dysfunction when they hire a Brazilian maid who loves to laugh but hates to clean. The Clean House is a serious comedy about jokes we don’t understand, feelings we can’t explain, events we can’t control, and houses we can’t keep tidy despite our best intentions. Directed by Bill Rauch. *There is a special Monday evening performances on September 20 at 8PM, and a Wednesday matinee on October 6 at 2PM.
