Slow Children at Play

When Slow Children at Play returns to the stage, audiences are sure to laugh and roll in the aisles. The Stamford Center for the Arts’ resident improv comedy troupe features multi-talented young comics from area colleges and high schools. Some of the “children” include such familiar comic faces as Sophia Burdett, Ryan Feinstein, Chris O’Neill and Billy Yurkas plus new comic faces of Matt Blank, Meredith Hackman and Jim Ringel. Individually and as an ensemble, the comics offer outrageously quick-witted scenes based on audience suggestions as well as funny character sketches — sometimes with an occasional surprise guest or two. Josh Sette is the keyboard accompanist.
