SCA Theatre Series sponsored by Cox Radio’s WSTC/WNLK and F.D. Rich Company present a concert-style reading of Route 66, a new musical featuring book by Jerold Goldstein and William Squier, music by Fred Stark and lyrics by Fred Squire.

A classic romantic comedy…with a twist: a woman who falls in love with her country before she falls in love with the guy. Liz, a freelance journalist with a sardonic view of life, and Drew, a loner cowboy photographer, are assigned to do a magazine piece on historic US Route 66. Though they begin their trip with little in common, their encounters with offbeat, everyday folk who made Route 66 the cultural icon that it is today leads them to changes in attitude and perspective. In the process of rediscovering an integral part of America, Liz and Drew discover one another. Buckle up for a road trip that discovers the landscape of love!
