Grease is Broadway’s biggest party! It’s Hot Rods! It’s Hot Dogs! Hound Dogs! and it’s Rydell High School Class of ’59! Grease is the story of Danny Zuko, king of the Burger Palace Boys and Sandy Dunbrowski, the wholesome, naïve and pretty transfer student whose life changes forever after meeting the tough yet vulnerable Rizzo, leader of the Pink Ladies gang.
The musical brings back the classic rock ‘n’ roll sounds of the fifties with such songs as “We Go Together,” “Since I Don’t Have You,” “Beauty School Dropout” and “It’s Raining on Prom Night.” And for those who cannot get enough of Grease, special arrangements have been made to include three songs from the film: “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “You’re The One That I Want” (by arrangements with Warner/Chappell Music) and Barry Gibb’s “Grease” (by arrangement with BMG Music Publishing).
