About This Show

Romeo Castellucci, from William Shakespeare and Roman Historical Sources, has divided European audiences between the entranced and the appalled with his merciless and uncompromising reworking of Julius Caesar. As much visual artist as theater director, Castellucci creates a series of haunting, disturbing and sometimes terrifying images accompanied by extraordinary soundtracks and visual effects. This production is a feature of the 2000 International Festival of Arts & Ideas.
