DanceFest 2004

Following the success of last season’s DanceFest, Stamford Center for the Arts (SCA) offers an expanded ten-day DanceFest 2004.

Specifically designed for area dance students and their families, DanceFest 2004 will give students, 12 years and up, an opportunity to participate in classes that explore key dance and performance techniques of Latin Jazz/salsa, theatre dance/jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop/funk and modern taught by Master Dance Teachers. In addition, students, their families and the general public are invited to attend FREE interactive seminars on such subjects as The Healthy Dancer: Emotional & Physical Well-Being and Stage Make-up – Classical to Character.

The Festival includes an evening performance by Ballet Hispanico on Friday, February 6 plus a special DanceFest 2004 Student Performance featuring students from 13 area dance studios/schools on Saturday, February 14 at 7:30pm.
