Playwright Moises Kaufman crafted Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde using various texts, transcripts from the trial, newspaper accounts, personal letters, and biographies. This courtroom drama is full of the same wordplay and witticism that made Wilde popular before he fell to complete humiliation and scorn at the time of the trial.
There is an additional performance on Sunday, May 12 at 2:00pm.
