From the moment they enter the theater, children are transported millions and millions of years back into the age of dinosaurs. In front of them is a lone dinosaur egg tapping out a call for help. The children interpret what the egg is saying and help to hatch the egg. They make a pact with a surly Triceratops, protect the newly formed dinosaur family and defeat the dangerous Tyrannosaurus Rex. The Dinosaur Play, written by Kathy and STeve Hotchner and adapted by Chris Keener, is a powerful tale about making friends and forming families. Liz Jury directs.
