About the Show

The Physically Handicapped Amateur Musical Actors League (PHAMALy) is proud to present Grand Hotel, its 11 annual production. Set in 1920s Berlin, this musical weaves through the many hotel rooms of one of the city’s most luxurious and exclusive hotels telling the stories of staff and guests, who range from a charming but debt-laden aristocrat to a famous ballerina to a terminally-ill accountant. The PHAMALy production challenges audience members to examine the idea that everyone is disabled in some way. The characters display a variety of disabilities and each of the actors is either physically or developmentally disabled.
