About This Show

Copenhagen by Michael Frayn examines a secret meeting where loyalty is tested, betrayal is suspected, and friendship crosses enemy lines. The work is based on the mysterious and dangerous meeting between physicists Werner Heisenberg, leader of the German study of the feasibility of an atomic bomb, and his friend Niels Bohr, a half-Jewish Dane living in his German-occupied homeland.
