About This Show

Under the Streetlamp, one of America’s newest vocal groups starring the recent leading cast members of the Tony Award-winning musical “Jersey Boys,” will return to Elgin Community College. Rock and roll, doo-wop ditties, Motown melodies and favorites from the American Radio Songbook come to life in an electrifying evening of unforgettable hits, complete with a dynamite band of seasoned and elite musicians. Under the Streetlamp offers audiences the sounds of the sixties with a quartet of vocalists, including Michael Ingersoll, Michael Cunio, Christopher Kale Jones and Shonn Wiley, whose timeless sound, charismatic camaraderie and hilarious storytelling exudes the irresistible rapport of the Rat Pack.

Audiences will be treated to the classic hits of The Drifters, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Sam Cooke and more, including favorites from the Four Seasons catalogue. This group has sold out performances throughout the Chicago area and beyond. A recent taping of their live concert performance will be nationally broadcast this fall on PBS stations across the nation.
