About This Show

Northlight Theatre presents Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, in an original adaptation by James Maxwell, revised by Alan Stanford, and directed by Peter Amster.

This delightful tale follows the Bennets, a family blessed with five daughters who flirt and struggle with societal expectations of marriage. In a game of status versus common sense, the witty, independent Elizabeth meets her match in the arrogant but honorable Darcy. Just when it seems love can conquer all in this satirical charmer, “pride” and “prejudice” prove worthy opponents. With grace and spirit the Bennet sisters and their suitors will, no doubt, dance their way into your heart.
