About This Show

Shakespeare’s first great tragedy tells the story of two noble Romans who conspire to rid the empire of tyranny through the assassination of Julius Ceasar. Their actions, spurred by very different motives, threaten to destroy their friendship even as the country itself is torn apart by civil war. In this classically inspired production, director Henry Godinez explores the cyclical and self-perpetuating quality of revolution in a timeless world where nature itself is revolting.
